Howdy!

Look what arrived in the mail last week! My new cowgirl necklaces! I had ordered them from Washington based Country Cowgirl's Etsy shop. In the past six months or so, I have become a very big Etsy fan but I have yet to try Dawanda, the European equivalent! My Mum said: are you really going to wear the green one at the office? Lol!

Meanwhile, there is lots of new life at home and I'm relishing it! Amongst my favourites are grape hyacinths. They are so pretty and delicate, aren't they?

This blue hyacinth came out blurred but I really like the photo.

Of course, they also smell divine!

It's a bit early for daffodils, but hey, I was given these so I'm enjoying them!

Even though I still have so many other projects to finish, I have been rummaging in my fabrics again. Not good! I now have an itch to start something with these cowboy fabrics which I had bought in Pendleton, Oregon last September. The something is most probably going to end up being a small decorative cushion...

And before I wish you a happy Sunday and a good new week, don't forget to love and be loved! Happy Valentine's day!

  4. I bought a couple of similar necklaces---well they were just the pendants and I added the necklace--I like 'em.

Love the cowboy fabric and you should make an apron out of at least one of them. MB

About the necklaces, they are beautiful indeed, however I'm not "that kind of Easter girl", but it's cool and more cool that you like and you can use , you have found great shops and so on.
In fact I was thinking here...I like rings! :)
The flowers are wonderful, one more beautiful than other! Thanks for sharing and a Happy Valentine's Day for you!

  6. I made an apron out of material that had cowboy hats or should I say cowgirl hats on it. But true I don't wear aprons either.

I posted another pic on my day4plus blog for you. I found this in a thrift shop---does it mean anything??? MB
